Paris and Milan are the final two Fashion Weeks on the Autumn/Winter 2017 schedule. Both are extremely easy to access via private jet, enabling you to have a trip abroad without having to worry about big time differences and spending too much time away from work or your family and friends.
Check out our top tips for both cities below…
Milan Fashion Week: 22nd – 28th February
Milan – a metropolis in Italy’s northern Lombardy region and is a global capital of fashion and design and arguably the most glamorous of the fashion weeks.
Unlike many sprawling fashion districts in other cities, Milan’s boutiques fit into a square known as the Quadrilatero d’Oro – translated as The Golden Rectangle. Every inch of this area is tightly packed with the best of haute couture, and it is also home to all the instantly recognisable high-end names including Armani, Prada and Versace.
We’d recommend taking a trip down ‘via Monte Napoleone’ to explore the best of the shops and then take a pit stop between purchases at Cova café, the antique Patisserie which serves some of Italy’s most delicious coffee, pastries and confectioneries.
You can’t visit Milan without tasting some of its delicious Italian food. Ratana is housed in a 19th century industrial building and is the only remaining historical construction in the neighbourhood. The food offers a modern take on Lombardy’s traditional recipes and the chef’s delicious saffron risotto is famed across the city.
Travelling to Milan by private jet takes just 1 hour and 40 minutes and we will fly you directly into Linate Airport to ensure you arrive and have plenty of time to explore that very same day.
Paris Fashion Week: 28th February – 8th March
Last but by no means least is Paris Fashion Week. Paris is known for its chic art, fashion and culture and is only a short 1 hour flight from the UK. With such easy access to Paris from the UK, it’s an ideal location to explore the Fashion Week in just a couple of days.
A fantastic restaurant to visit on a trip to Paris is Georges. It is spectacularly located at the top of the Pompidou and its fashionable crowd and fabulous panoramic view are what drives visitors to this popular restaurant.
Our pick for where to stay would be Saint James Paris, boutique hotel, perfectly located a few steps from the Champs-Elysees – Paris’ famous shopping avenue. This stunning boutique has its own private garden offering a unique experience of grandeur and intimacy. It is the only chateau-hotel of Paris hidden in its own walled garden and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Parisian culture.
France is home to some of the world’s most inspirational designers including Coco Chanel and Christian Louboutin and is a wonderful place to host the finale of the Fashion Weeks.
